A new arrival: adding to our European family

28 Apr 2014

Just a quick update on our family. We are now a family of 4. Baby E arrived safe and well after a very short but intense (read painful) labour on April 16th.

He is a quiet and easy going little boy so far and his big sister is very protective and proud.

The birth experience in Germany was very similar to the U.K. But the after-care was so different (in a good way, I think). I will write more about it shortly.
We have also added a forever connection to Germany in our ever more multiculutural family. We are now 4 members of the same family born in 4 different countries.

On the blog front, it has been and may still be a little quieter than usual as we get used to our new family dynamics and 'enjoy' being a family of 4 with a travelling Papa ;-)
So I have lined up a few friends to help out with the blog over the next few weeks. They have been kind enough to write a few posts for me to publish here on subjects close to my heart and I hope you will enjoy them.

Thank you to everyone who sent their best wishes so far and I hope you stay around for more adventures with us.

And I'm eager to read more about giving birth in Germany (I might need it in the future...)
