When hubby and I spent a child-free weekend in Paris, we just strolled for hours, ate great food and watched the world go by. This may not be the Paris you see everywhere. We didn't go to the Eiffel Tower or Notre Dame. We just enjoyed the city.

Your photos are gorgeous! Paris is such a lovely city, and how awesome that you got to with just your husband!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos Annabelle. I love the effect on "Taking Stock", what app did you use for that? I think my favourite is the one of the kids coolng off in the fountain in Republique. In b&w like that it looks vintage, almost as though it's fro the 40s or 50s! Canal St Martinis one of my favourite places in Paris, but there are so many great places in Paris that it would be hard to actually pick a favourite. Thanks for linking up to #AllAboutFrance
ReplyDeleteThanks Phoebe. I used PicMonkey to do the effect. Canal St Martin is so lovely. I love the 10th.
DeleteGreat pictures and I love how you framed them black and white! They made me even more giddy about my upcoming trip to Paris in March :) Guess, Paris is always worth visiting another time!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous b&w photos! I just did a Paris weekend...always good!
ReplyDeleteSo many of my old haunts (I lived in Paris up until October last year). The only way to really enjoy it is walking!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos of Paris! Love the use of black and white - so classic :-)
ReplyDeleteParis is just so beautiful! I've been with husband but next time we go would love to take the kids. It would be so easy to get a train up and go for a long weekend.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos that are possibly all the better for being in black and white. We are close enough to hop to Paris for a weekend and it is such a lovely city. If only we had more time to hop over there!, though. #AllAbout France
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pictures - I would love to do exactly the same! Les Tuileries is on my list.
